    Distinct and passionate, which is of no value unless of course you have the craftsmanship as well, which truly you do. To me the paintings express a struggle for self worth. Klimpt is perfect in every detail, but the painting Take a Bow seems to say “What about me? I am perfect, too, but I just have all this passion and drama to contend with. Am I know less perfect for feeling as much as I do?'' Your paintings have a dignity all their own.

    No worries. One of the many things this site has taught me is that people who participate are far more talented than they credit themselves for. Getting feedback from a wider audience is an excellent way to overcome that. I have the feeling you are on the cusp a creative splurge, and I hope that is true of your writing as well as painting.
