My cup runneth over. Can I get a bigger cup?

  • Juanvandendorp

    I like it a lot!!

  • http://www.awordwithyoupress.com/ Thornton Sully

Thanks Juan. that carries bit of weight around here seeing as you are the winner of our first anthology!

  • Star5fallonmyheart

Sure, did you want to upgrade it to Grande or Venti?

  • http://www.awordwithyoupress.com/ Thornton Sully

that sounds awfully starbucky. I just wanna large coffee, no double-triple back flip crap flap cap frap latte soy drizzle two pump. Just coffee!

  • Derek

    What is a Venti anyway?

  • Russellshor

I like the retro-ocity of it.. and colorful enough to attract browsers (seriously) .. The second one might blend into the counter scenery too much

an Italian sportscar that runs on caffeine

  • Star5fallonmyheart

“Just” coffee? Never heard of it. Did you want an Iced Venti, decaf, extra caramel, 5 pumps vanilla syrup, upside-down, whipped cream Caramel Macchiato instead?

  • Peggy R. Dobbs

I really like this one. The crimson cup stands out and yet its not so bring that is over-shadows the background. The painted brick wall seems to be “the thing” now, especially in restaurants down here. I think Russellshsor is correct, its an eye catcher. Will the scanner “thingy” have to cover “COFFEE”?

  • Star5fallonmyheart

I think, so far, I like this best =) But I'll withold final judgment until all of the designs are in

  • Jamie G

    Ed, this is wonderful!

  • Jamie

    Ed,

    This is, I think perfect.

  • Mac Eagan

That's nothing. Try ordering just a decaf in Sydney, Australia. As long as it took to bring it to me, I swear they flew to the US West Coast, bought a cup and flew back, then brought it to my table. Somewhere along the way I think they spilled some and replaced it with tepid black water from who-knows-where. Bloody European heritage . . .

I like cowboy coffee myself. Must pass the three second rule. Stand the spoon in the middle of the cup, let go and count to three. If it takes that long for the spoon to hit the side of the cup, the coffee is strong enough. I'm a macho man! It's great to be a macho man!

  • Star5fallonmyheart

Well, I see your cowboy hat, the Indian headress, so where's that sailor and cop? =D

  • Julie Weinstein

I like this design the best.

  • Derek

    My ancestors are wounded, probably!

  • Derek

And that's before we even get to snacky treats. It's brownies for me, no contest.

  • Star5fallonmyheart

It's a Pumpkin Spice Cream Cheese Muffin for me. Warmed. Slightly melting the cheese, but making it feel like it just came out of the oven. And on a plate. With a fork and knife made of purest silver.
