Finding Forrester? What about MEETING MIRYAM?

Hi Folks!

One of our most prolific commentators on the blog and contestant in all our contests loves us so much she and her husband are driving down from the Canadian border with their way kuhl Airstream retro trailer for Labor Day Weekened.

Her express desire is to meet as many of you in the tribe as she can, and she will be camping out here at our clubhouse over labor day weekend.  Miryam Howard!

So, here is what I propose:  LABORLESS LABOR DAY!

All of you who have helped build the site and worked on our building come by on SUNDAY, SEPT  5th.  High Noon.  We will barbeque, drink things that are bad for us, go to the beach, think things that are bad for us, (I will, anyway) put our toes in the Pacific (only three blocks from HQ) all the while getting to know one another better and make our outta-site, outta state guests feel a little California warmth and sunshine.

Who is in???

Email me, the rsvp thingy, leave a comment and let’s have some fun this weekend.  New-comers and those who have not had a chance to help with the building of our community and renovating our clubhouse are more than welcome, and all their friends as well.  Even if your favorite books require crayons to be enjoyed fully!

    Miryam, It was great to meet you and Brian. I was so disappointed when I drove by Thorn's on Saturday and learned you drove up to Long Beach. I was looking forward to talking to both of you again.

    It was great to meet you brother, we looked and looked for a place to park our aluminum can, to no avail, we hit two Wal Marts and both said no, it has to do with your local codes, “No Trailers”, So at 1:30 am, I bought a corn dog and a Rockstar and didn't stop driving till early morning.
    Next time, we will fly down, get a decent hotel and a rental car.
