A Word with You Press is pleased to announce that we now will be hosting DimeStories,

and we highly recommend that you check them out and consider opening a chapter on your part of the planet.

It works like this:  You read a story to your group and have exactly three minutes to tell a complete story with a beginning, middle, and an ending.  At three minutes the guillotine falls, chopping your ego and unread words sometimes in mid senten…   You get the idea.

Soooo. You local Literati: Meet at the towers that are A Word with You Press  Friday, February 15th at 6:00 and every third Friday forever to participate.  The best stories are audio recorded and sent to Dime Stories International in Albequirckie New Mexico, where they are put in a giant centrifuge and spun, a bit like the stone in David’s sling.  The best stories make it to public radio.  Because like David’s sling. They rock.
